For the continental US, southern Canada, and northern Mexico, data for the first 48 hours is from the High Resolution Rapid Refresh (HRRR) model from <a href="https://www.noaa.gov/">NOAA</a>, with a spatial resolution of 3km and a time resolution of 15 minutes. For the rest of the world, data for the first 48 hours is from the Global Forecast System (GFS) model from <a href="https://www.noaa.gov/">NOAA</a>, with a spatial resolution of 18 km and a time resolution of one hour. After the first 48 hours, data comes from the GFS model, for all locations.
